Electric insulated ball valves are generally used in situations where heating/tracing media are passed through the jacket to prevent material crystallization from blocking the pipeline, especially in areas where material flow is not very good due to infrequent opening and closing. According to different operating conditions, the jacket of the electric insulated ball valve can be condensed water, which is used to precipitate crystals due to overheating, or it can be used as a heat tracing agent with hot water, steam, and thermal oil. It has good insulation and cooling characteristics and is commonly used to transport high viscosity media that solidify at room temperature.
Application of electric insulated ball valve:
Electric insulated ball valves are mainly composed of jacketed ball valves and (switch type, regulating type) electric actuators. They are used to maintain a certain temperature or when the medium cooling is prone to clogging the valve, and to provide heat insulation. For example, the insulation requirement for liquid flow is 135-145 degrees. If the temperature is lower than the indicator, the liquid flow will freeze. If the valve does not use a steam jacket, it will cause the valve to be inoperable.
